WELDING
We weld structural steel products on all four workstations using the MIG/MAG multi-process welding machines from KEMPPI - FastMig X450. The maximum weight of the weldment is 2000 kg. The maximum dimensions of the weldment are 1.5 x 3 m for high-precision welding, set up on SIEGMUND welding tables, or optionally 3 x 6 m on freestanding supports.

Testing and Development of Metal Material Welding at HELAS Metalworks In the year 2022, our company, HELAS Metalworks s.r.o., carried out the Testing and Development of Metal Material Welding project, which was financed by the European Union.

Thanks to the support of the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund, we were able to carry out the project Testing and Development of Metal Material Welding at HELAS Metalworks (CZ.01.1.02/0.0/0.0/20_358/0027877) within the framework of the Operational Program Enterprise and Innovation for Competitiveness. The project had a budget of 495,500 CZK excluding VAT, and our company received a 75% grant of 371,625 CZK.
The project´s main activities include the gradual testing and conducting of necessary tests on 7 samples covering the main methods of welding high-strength steels. These samples are related to our planned production of components and parts for frames and superstructures of road towed vehicles. As part of the development activities, all the necessary welding processes for high-strength materials will be evaluated, continuously tested, and gradually optimized in accordance with welding method EN 135.
